Missouri Department of Transportation Website
Welcome to the home page for Missouri Department of Transportation at Bid Express.
Due to the late notification of the addendums for certain calls, MoDOT has decided to delay opening the bids for those effected calls until Monday November 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. (Calls 102, 202, 302, 303, 304, 403, 705, 706, 801, X01, & X02) Error 500 On June 10th modifications were made to our servers in order to continue to provide excellent service to the bidding community. One of our modifications introduced a small issue with some contractors either verifying the bid bond or submitting a bid. If you experienced an error (Error 500) when trying to submit a bid or verify a bid bond) please follow the instructions below. The instructions modify on entry in the Windows registry for Expedite Bid. 1. Download this file called "Expedite.REG" 2. Save this file to your Desktop . 3. Double click on the Expedite.REG file from the desktop. 4. Accept the registry updates. The change involves changing the current registry entry for URL0 under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\InfoTech\Expedite\Bid\URL to http://bidserver.bidx.com/cgi-bin/expedite If you have any questions, please contact Bid Express Customer Support. June 23, 2008 The Notice of Bid Opening for Proposed State Road Work for the July 25, 2008 bid opening has been revised. Our mission is taking care of and improving Missouri's transportation system. In order to get the roadbed rebuilt as soon as possible, the Special Letting for Call 901, J9P2157 has been moved to Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. A new letting notice and EBS file has been posted. In order to get bridge demolition complete the Emergency Letting for Call 501, J5P2151 has been moved to Wednesday December 5, 2007. Since MoDOT has began utilizing electronic bidding in January 2007 the number of people attending the bid openings to listen to the bids being read aloud has been reduced to 0. All bidders who have came to the MoDOT building have left after the hardcopy of the apparent bids from the BidX.com website has been handed out. Therefore, MoDOT plans to cease the public reading of the bids. We will still make the hardcopies of the apparent bids available in our building as soon as they are complete. Attached is a guide to viewing apparent bids and also a link to our website where the guide is located. Please let me know if you have any questions of concerns. Thanks. http://www.modot.org/eBidLettingPublicWebl/viewStream.do?documentType=general_in fo&key=297 Effective for the May 25, 2007 letting, the bidder shall take into consideration the following language when preparing bids. THE BIDDER CERTIFIES THAT THE BIDDER'S COMPANY KNOWINGLY EMPLOYS ONLY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS AND ALL PROVISIONS OF MISSOURI EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 07-13 FOR CONTRACTS WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION, ACTING THROUGH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. Note: Effective for the April 27, 2007 letting, the format for the EBS file has been revised to include all the same folders whether the job is state or federal. In addition, every job will contain the DBE Certification folder; however, if there is a 0% DBE goal, the job will not contain the DBE Goals folder. This change was implemented to resolve the inconsistencies in paragraph numbering between the blue Bid Book and the electronic bids. ***Please be aware that projects with a 0% DBE goal will not contain the DBE folder. If wishing to submit a goal please mail/fax/email copy.*** The bid opening time will be 11:00 a.m. central standard time. |
